Leviathan's Awakening
Come forth he whom sorrow dances before, beast ov chaos bringer ov war
Nigh is the hour to purge and burn what plagues the earth
Open thine mouth and condemn them to hell for this is my will
Awaken Leviathan
Emerge from the deepest darkest depths ov the sea
Bring forth thy wretched reckoning
Bathe in blood and boil the oceans
Awaken Leviathan
Come forth he whom sorrow dances before, beast ov chaos bringer ov war, suffering and envy
In grandeur, in glory, Leviathan's Awakening
Arise!
With a deafening bellow the beast rose from the sea
Flames emitting from his breath whilst smoke plumes from his nostrils
His eye's burning like that ov the sun
“I woke to the sounds ov the terrified, as the ship shook ferociously to and fro
Violence ov thrashing, as I cling tightly to the railings leaving my hands to bleed
A sight I beheld as I asked “to what is this monstrosity?” as dread fell upon me”
Broken bows and splintered ships
Bloody waters and lifelessness
No spear can pierce nor sword can sever
All men cower before their mire
Nigh is the hour to purge and burn what plagues the earth
Open thine mouth and condemn them to hell for this is my will

Symphonic stuff in metal doesn’t make its way into my collection aside from a couple of early Cradle albums. The orch here though just ads to how huge this band sounds. It makes elements in the songs more immersive. There are plenty of breaks from orchestration where its in deathcore/slamming brutality mode. While not ignorant, the songs never play with time or get mathy making it accessible and memorable. Came out 2015? Impressed. Mitch Mitcherson

Very well-balanced indeed. Everything here screams talent and professionalism, from the music to the production. Technical without showing off, brutal without sacrificing musicality... This is a great record. Nekobibu
