The Harvester
Behold...the ever present lord ov the flesh
Servant of shadow unhindered by the essential harvest ov humans
Perfection ov hellion
Devourer, defiler
Feared by all with the downfall ov mortal
Whom are consumed in putrid ritual
In the depths he dwells, the maker and embracer ov a living hell
Enforcing the requirement for equity in life
Who's expenditure is simply our... Sacrifice
With eyes ov haunting radiance, yet seemingly formless
Ensnare with all to be feared
The harvester ov flesh
The god of death and morbid desire
And demon ov demons
Thousands ov bodies he combs like crops, feasting on their festering, protruding guts
The only escape is through the digestion in the belly of the beast
Devourer, defiler
Feared by all with the downfall ov mortal
Whom are consumed in putrid ritual
Symphonic stuff in metal doesn’t make its way into my collection aside from a couple of early Cradle albums. The orch here though just ads to how huge this band sounds. It makes elements in the songs more immersive. There are plenty of breaks from orchestration where its in deathcore/slamming brutality mode. While not ignorant, the songs never play with time or get mathy making it accessible and memorable. Came out 2015? Impressed. Mitch Mitcherson
Very well-balanced indeed. Everything here screams talent and professionalism, from the music to the production. Technical without showing off, brutal without sacrificing musicality... This is a great record. Nekobibu
